Stage one : Mission Darkfire
After several hours searching the web for a suitable neighbourhood I gave up and read a tutorial on how to make my own. You need SimCity 4 to make you own neighbourhood but if you have it I found it was really easy to do.
Here’s the finished neighbourhood what do you think??
Heres the neighbourhood its self.. The idea is that in the beginning only the walled plateau is safe, the rest of the Darkfire kingdom is still in under the control of the curse for the moment my Sims will be limited to living in this small walled area, they can expand beyond it as and when my storyline allows it.
Darkfire mountains has been made as a downtown and will always be limited to this single neighbourhood, while Grimstead the main neighbourhood in our story can and will expand across several.
At the moment I see the people of Grimstead all living in a very small area of the kingdom, its not that Grimstead is actually that small but lets face it when 20 people get off a boat they where all likely to stay close together for safety and economic reasons as my kingdom expands I may add “shopping districts” giving each lord there own estate properly rather them all living pretty much on each others door steps.
