You might have noticed I’ve started growning my toddlers up at 4 rather than 5, the reason for this is because to be honest i was starting to find 5 years abit of a drag, they where doing too much skilling and it just wasn’t working.

I’ve also knocked my seasons down from 5 days to just 3, in the beginning 5 days worked great but my kingdoms getting bigger and 20 days per family per year was taking Waaaaay to long to play.

In the early days i needed the extra time to write a good story, because when kids were aging one year per day there wasn’t enough time to real show much in the way of character development, when a person is born, grows up, gets married, has kids and dies in the matter of days its hard to really write anything meaningful.

However now im having the opposite problem, 20 days takes me roughly 2 – 4 days to play a family one year though depending on my free time, meaning an entire rotation is taking me literally a month or more.

I’m starting to get impatient, and just want some of these kids to grow up already. for example Bellari’s kids Asha and Farid where born in March … its now December and they are still only 9…. I’ve got twice the population now than i had when they where born and at this rate they will be getting married themselves sometime in 2009 and seeing as ive had there partners picked out for ages i just want to get on with it.

Anyway …. ill quite rambling now hehe.. and back to the point.

Helena and Stephan have a small problem now that Gayle and Leon have grown into children, lack of space, it seems silly but the house that Clara started in doesn’t have room for the 2 beds even after the sale of the cot.

I don’t allow much in the way of modification to houses because as easy as it is in sims to knock a wall down and extend a room it simply not that easy in real life. So i tend to make sims stick with what they have or make them move.

With a net worth of only 9,000 and just 1,000 cash on hand im seriously stuck for options… the gothiers only have the bare essentials as it is, so its not like they have anything i can sell to make room.

They NEED everything they have so i don’t know what to do, i must have taken everything out of thier house 50 times already trying to make the space and i can’t make them fit!!!!! GAH !!!! its bad enough already with so little space as i only one tile space around anything and the sims often get stuck as 5 sims try and get though one doorway etc

When they where toddler’s i made them share, one would sleep while they other played, however it’s not so easy with children as they all need to get up for school in the morning, in the real world i would have made them top and tail, silly sims won’t do that…

i’ve totally run out of ideas.. I might end up moving them after all.. but thier current house was only worth $6,000 i dread to think where im gonna end up putting them.
