Oh so looking at this lot i was perhaps a weeeeeeee bit optimistic about sending Francis to uni …. erm .. yeah … $5000 per day uni fee’s aren’t gonna happen… seriously … which planet was i living on when i thought that was gonna happen.
I introduced Francis to Katherine Baev while I was playing her household, and to see that these kids don’t get on is a wee bit of an understatement, they have less than no chemistry, and their personalities are total opposites, which is kinda a shame as i’d planned to marry this pair off.
The question is what do I do?? if they’s been nobles I’d have forced them to marry regardless, however Kaiden isn’t the type to force his som to marry, and tbh the Baev situation atm is such that they benefit more from keeping Katherine at home than they do letting her leave, however if this couple don’t marry I may struggle finding other partners for them both.
Francis could possibly wait for Aliana Hamdun, she’d be marrying below her class but I can’t see peter caring where she go’s as long as its out of his way, and the Gawens are certainly becoming a fairly well off Merchant class family so it isn’t a bad option.
However Aliana is only 8 atm so that would be quite a wait, again not necessarily a bad thing Kaiden and Dorothy are still in their ” child rearing years” and having two married couples in one house might cause me space issues.
Waiting a few years to marry will give Kaiden and Dorothy chance to have another couple of babies before I have to worry about squeezing in Francis, a wife and grand kids. Anyway Francis is only 14, its not an major problem yet I have plenty of time to decide.
