Its busy in the Gawen household this year, both Neo and Lysander grew up into the next life stage, and Forrest moved in. Taye and Forrest will also get married, I haven;t covered this in story yet but it will be happening fairly soon as soon as im done with everything else.

Forrest moving into the house makes the Gawen family very financially stable however i don’t want to get too carried away. Lysander will be old enough to run the house alone next year, and surprisingly Clara makes it though another round which means technically i didn’t need to move him in, i could have got them a house now. but it made sense story line wise.

Forrest came into the house with his saving from the army and for the most part i want to keep this separate from the rest of the households money because that is what ill use to buy Taye and Forrests home sometime in the future.

The sims living in the barracks earn a decent wage but pay very low taxs, and because the barracks is well equipt i find the house hold funds mounts up nicely meaning when my solider sims leave they take a good chunk of cash which i think is nice its like their wages are saved up till they need them. Forrest walked out with about $50,000.

Anyway back to Taye and Forrest, because i want to keep some money aside for a few years i have bought about $40,000 worth of items and stashed them in Forrests inventory, i may buy more as the family can afford it. I’m not sure when ill move them out of the lake house yet it really depends how quickly i need the space after finding Lysander a wife.

There are plenty of Grimstead options for Lysanders wife, he’s not the prettiest sim so i don’t really want to use any of sims with really good genes.. i know that sounds terribly mean, however he is the heir to a reasonably nice house so he’s got good options.

Matching up sims can be one of the hardest jobs you don’t have to just think about who is being matched to who, but who that leaves unmatched and how the remaining people are going to be sorted… i tend to find paper, pencil, a rubber and lots of lines joining sims is the only real way of doing this.

However as we’ve already shown sometimes what you match and who get’s along are sometimes very different and sometimes fiddling has to happen after the fact.

Anyway today was a pen and paper day….and lots of frustration later i finally decide on a either Erin(Aaron talon’s daughter ) or Marta(Sable/Jack Talons daughter) for lysander.

I’ve got plenty of up and coming girls i could pair him with such as Asha or the bendetts daughter persia but as these come from small familys i want to reserve there DNA for something abit better, there are hundreds of Talon kids so these are good choices both girls are only 6 atm so that gives Lysander a good few years to get himself settled before I have to think about it again as see who he actually gets along with.
