Financially the Beaumont cut things finely on a monthly basis, 36 years into the game and this estate is only just really getting on it’s feet because unfortunately it’s founding family had a high portion of female children who moved off to other estates when they got married.

However with the addition of 2 much needed NPC familys and the birth of plenty of boy children, It is now getting a good foundation to build on and i anticipate a bright future as soon some of the current kids become old enough to start family’s of their own.

I have to admit the slowness of my game is starting to get to me, i was amazed to discover Valdemar is still only 22 i feel like ive been playing him as an adult for ages, sometimes i have to wonder if i play my game alittle to slowly after all it’s been running for well over 18months now and i still have founding members that are still alive.

Anyhow the Beaumonts are plodding along happily, they cut is close financially however with the addition of Taye/Forrests and Neve’s Incomes this round i suspect things will get much easier from now on.

I have slowly started to improve Valdermar and Marrisa’s relationship this round, not greatly but just enough that they may consider Whoohoo and try for a baby by them selves i won’t spoil it by telling you if she gets pregnant or if she manages to get out of her marriage, but i will say that although it seems there is a lot of couples in my kingdom with “Relationship” issues.

The reason for much of this was because i wanted to break the “get married, have baby’s right away trend” which was causing my kingdom to have population waves, by holding off a few family’s for a few rounds im hoping to stagger the births allowing for a more constent flow of baby’s into the world, which will mean i’ll have some nice variation.

So far i can see by looking at the book of death that it’s starting to work nicely, no longer are all the noble kids all around the same age, and the generations are starting to blur, meaning that 3rd and 4th’s gen’s won’t have such harsh defining lines.. already im finding that some gen 3 kids and marrying gen 4 kids from other familys thus helping to keep the population diverse and reducing my need to bring in “townie” partner’s.
