I moved an Elder Townie into Lynette’s house last round as Lynettes new significant other, as a divorcee she can’t marry but they seem quite happy living in sin as it where.
Mather is an elder and doesn’t have a job however just having him in the house saves Lynette money on the nanny and he often does a spot of fishing just so their is fish for the larder so I’d say he’s earning his keep.
They started the round already in debt, money went out during Orrick’s turn they could not afford to pay so they had to take out of loan at 5% interest to pay back the money and im focusing the round on getting them back out of debt.
Working hard i paid of the debt she’d built up, with the help of the bonus from a promotion and saved some money ready for when i play Orrick’s household.
As a rule the family’s plodding along quite happily, no major issues but as much as they aren’t really struggling they aren’t managing to save much either and although the twins are only 8 i do need to start thinking of their future.
Lynette’s house is Orrick’s property, given to her to live in when they divorced and as the twins are not orricks sons neither will be eligible to inherit it should Lynette die, and she is getting closer and closer to elder which will suddenly stack the death calc against her.
With this is mind, im slowly purchasing items of furnisher and keeping then in the twins inventory’s this is their inheritance from Lynette which they will use to set up their own homes when they come of age.
