Ok i’ve started this round with both whores already pregnant, which is a pain to say the least, i also have to decide what to do with the 2 current boy children in the house.
Firstly I’ve decided to drop the whores % chance of getting pregnant as things are getting out of hand, i can’t have each whore popping out 2 kids a round it’s simply insane, ill call it the whores finally working out ways and means of having some sort of birth control. It started the round at 20% which is still lower than most peasants and i thought that would be low enough but apparently i was wrong, so i have re-set it to 10% hopefully this will give them some chance of getting though the occasional round without giving birth.
Secondly the boy children, my plan is to keep this lot running long term and pass it down though the female lines of both girls, leaving two whores working at all time. Vannah is Autumns contribution to the next generation, however thus far Candance has only poped out boy children, so her contribution is still required, maybe her current pregnancy will bare fruit.
Both girls are pretty heavily frowned up on by the evil death calc, as both suffer a “profession minus”, they are pregnant at the moment and both have had quite a few children, i think this all warrants more explanation so I’ll write a post about the death calc a bit later explaining some of it.
Anyhoo the death calc doesn’t look kindly at all on either of these women, thus far they have survived but i really do think its only a matter of time before one of them dies, my only hope is that the both don’t die before Vannah is old enough to take over the family legacy… as grim as it is.
Ok so back to the boys. As ive said the heir of this house is a pair of girls meaning really neither boy have a purpose here, not to say that their mothers don’t love them.. infact the reason i kept them was because they where the first babies for each girl and “they” at the time didn’t realize how many more would follow and they wanted to be mothers to them.
However this said living in a whorehouse is no life for a little boy, the mothers spend half their lives in bed, sleeping or …. well you know. So really the relationships aren’t great as i really haven’t had time for them to get to know each other.
I’d look into settling them as workers in another family but a) they are both only 5 and b) i had enough trouble finding places for Pagan and Acker from the monastery so for now they are somewhat lumbered where they are.
The round passed uneventfully both women finally gave birth, and Candence gave me the girl i was hoping for Henna and Autumn gives birth to a boy i call Ademar and promptly send off to the monastery as if they didn’t have enough to deal with haha.
