  • Estate : Hamdun
  • Networth : $19,276
  • Jobs : Employee – Falcons Tavern
  • Adults :
    • Daisy (age:20)
  • Children :
    • Enora (age:5)
  • Tax’s – 19,276 X 10% (peasant tax) = $1927 /2 = $963 per day

Daisy and Nora got kicked out of there nice house a few rounds ago when Gabriel in his bitterness turned against them.

In order the do this i had to move them into an small empty lot, use money order to send a chunk of money back to Gabriel leaving them with just a small amount of funds and then buy them something small and hovel like.

Daisy has been working in Falcons Tavern she has a number of badges and does ok for herself and i was finally able to move her into something slightly more respectable this round. So she’s now living in half of a “shared” building, there is no-one in the other half for now but hopefully soon I’ll find someone for her to share it with.

She’s been breeding dogs with the plan of selling them off once they where trained up. However a little oversight on my part means she still has them all, the hindsight being i haven’t yet found a family that needs a dog and can afford one.

However that should soon change as many of the dogs around my lots have started aging to elder and the first dog (falcons) died this round. Hopefully this means i can get rid of a couple soon, freeing up space in her tiny house which is currently bedlam with so many dogs.

Dogs and Cat’s are still proving to be a genetic nightmare in Grimstead. It mostly due to breed issues, because while my “pesants” don’t mind having mixed breed animals my nobles etc like pure breeds and it means either i only have about 2 breeds running around or every one ends up with more animals than i really need while i get the genetic mix right.

A while ago when i switched to 1 year in game, involving a full set of seasons i tweaked the dog and cat aging rules using SimPe, however this round I’ve tweaked them again because my animals are just plain living to long, Falcons dog died at a grand old age of about 30 haha so I’ve cut all the values in half and hopefully this will see a better turn around of animals which will give me a more realistic animal cycle.

However right now i really need to find away of getting rid of some of these dogs, looking around i need someone who would want a “work” type dog, doesn’t mind it not exactly being a pure breed though most of her dogs are of a sheep dog or german shepard style. Unfortunately, this my most comman style, all the farms already have more dogs than you would normally imagine and most of these animals are related.

Eventually i decide to have one dog go to the whorehouse as there are a couple of kids growing up there who’d like a dog, besides the extra income a working dog can bring in wont go to waste. One dog go’s to the Church on the Hamdun estate bringing Daisy’s animals down to 5 which is a much more manageable number.

Daisy’s not doing to badly really lifes pretty rough for her but she’s from a farming family and not afraid of hard work, she’s managing to pay her taxs and keep everyone fed so they could certainly be worse.

I’d like to find a husband for her at some point, but she’s abit of an awkward age, she was born before the population boom and there really aren’t any single men around her age at the moment, they only ones even vagly her age are the recently widowed Hayden Huntsman or Falcon Talon who i might add she has 3 bolts for, however as i discussed last update im not looking to marry off him right now, not when bellari’s death is still so fresh.

I could consider a townie marriage for her, she’s living in Grimstead so townies are “available” to her, but i haven’t really seen one i fancy as yet especially seeing as daisy was a “main” character for quite awhile marrying her off to a townie seems to be abit of a cop out, and I’d rather use townies for “none important/storyline characters” and have my mains marrying each other so that storyline collide.

Hey! I’d just like to say I love your Grimstead blog, plus its great imspiration for my own RKC which I’ve only just started.

I’m still in the process of reading all the storylines from the begginning, but I’m up to date on behind the scenes, which I love! Keep the updates coming.

And gosh, you’re so dedicated. I can’t imgine playing each round for 20 days!
