Vinces family tick along quite nicely, His tax’s are extremely low as he lives on Silverhand land and pay’s only 2% however his school fee’s sure add up. Right now he has some money saved up and even though i decided to retire him this round, between him, Nancy and their dogs they bring in enough to cover the school fee’s.
However this said i know how quickly things are going to change. Nancy is also getting on in years and she’ll be retiring in about 3 years which with drop their income and the two original dogs aged to elder this round and also retired so between them and vinces retirements the income of the family has dropped sharply.
This isn’t however our only consideration, the twins (Joseph and Tara) are currently 9, and although Tara will “hopefully” leave the family at 13 and go into the service of one of the noble or royal familys saving the family the $500 per day for her school fee’s Joseph is costing $2000 a day till he’s 15ish and then that will up to a whooping $5000 a day to send him to university and finish his knightly training, and as by that point both Vince and Nancy will be retired i need to make sure i save every penny they earn now for josephs future so they can afford it.
I got lucky on Vinces last day of work a chance card paid off and bought in an extra $50,000 bringing the family’s savings upto $122,000 this sounds like alot, but in reality it barely pay’s for one year of Joseph’s University Education so i really need to get saving now.
