Apartment Life
Today i bite the bullet and installed apartment life, a friend had bought it for me for my birthday about 6 weeks ago but i was waiting for patches and hacks to be bought upto date. The main one i was waiting for was inteen however it’s not finished yet but jase has showed his face and assured us that everything is on track and he is working on it, however i figured that these days it takes me so long to get around all my family’s the few with “teens” or more importantly teens that are pregnant can easily be avoided for the time being.
I have to admit I’ve been really looking forward to this expansion it’s a shame you can’t have your landlords as playable sims but hey the idea of sims renting accommodation is great especially for my peasants and merchants who chances are wouldn’t be home owners. Not to mention FINNALLY actually being able to make real terraced blocks. Whooooooo hoooo. I also like the idea of having townies moving into the spare buildings, it will give my villages more feeling of being full and bustling places and i can start treating them more like “people”. Im so excited right now i feel like a kid in the candy store.
For Grimstead my first major step its to move all my “none home Owning” familys into the “sim bin” taking away any real money they have (ie the value of their old home) and converting some of my houses into apartments allowing me to move them back into the villages as tenant’s i estimate this job alone could take me days… ARGH
