Ok as i mentioned last round asha has turned 13 this round and is now old enough to marry. looking around I’ve decided on her future husband, however as she’s also one of the sims i consider to be one of my main characters in my Grimstead story i really want to write about her and her potential husband, give people an idea of the relationship etc.
Unfortunately right now im waaaay behind in my writing for Grimstead and i have too much going on to start yet another story line at least until some of the other stuff has been closed off, so for now im delaying her marriage until i have a good chance to write about it, and for now she’ll remain at home and help with the tavern, she’s only 13 so im not in a rush just yet.
It’s still only been three years since Bellari died and although i really didnt want to consider marrying off Falcon just yet, he’s a family sim who’s been in a constan state of negative aspiration since she died because all his wants at the moment seem to revolve around babys and marriage falling in love etc which is reasonably irritating when i really dont want to marry him off yet, so what I’ve decided is to allow him to start courting the girl i have in mind for him this should allow his aspiration to raise without actually going as far as having him re-marry.
Farid is also 13 now and although he’s still to young to marry he’s still close enough for me to consider the future for him. The options include Rose Farmer who will age to 13 as Farid hits 15 and marriable, she’s a good choise as the daughter of a farmer a connection between the two familys may make for good trade.
Another option is Anya Vaux, although she is a noble she’s the product of the union of Orrick and Nicole meaning that she has lower class blood, besides there really arn’t any noble options for her so Orrick would likely seek to marry her off into a good merchant family, and the talons are not only secure but Farid is also the product of a noble union and so has reasonable blood.
Looking at options younger again the girls who will hit 13 when farid turns 16 and beyond, the options really broaden out as thats the year my population really started booming, that year alone the options include Tara Bendett and Erin/Marta Talon (Remebering that Farid is not Falcons natural son so they are not technically cousins) and over in Darkfire mountains Mary Beav. No decisions made yet but its nice to know there are quite a few opions for him.
Financially they are pretty stable with 4 people running the tavern (falcon, daisy and the twins) it earns a reasonable income. Till now i’ve allowed Falcon to have a pond, allowing him and his children to fish to catch what they need to run to tavern, however this has always been abit of a cheat and this round ive finally decided to fill in the pond.
They still have the option of going to a community lot to fish however im hoping to buy much of their fish from local fish market (Tayes/Lysander gawens) giving them more of an income and making it more of a running economy and even expanding their food to none fish related produces by buying from the farmers market as well and making other foods.
