The lillards are prospering under the new tax system, their tax’s are reasonable even with the 1k for every business star being added to their home. The tax of 1,400 is a trival amount in comparison to their earnings.
With a small store of funds (well not so small actually $61) i decided it was time to expand their business by opening up a 2nd shop on the Shaw estate, Taye will manage the original shop so i will only have to visit it once every few days and i have hired townie staff for the second shop with the intention of training them up and making one of those a manager too. In addition to this i have made the family home a home business with the sole purpose of hiring yet more townies to help fish the lake.
Unsurprisingly Ebony get’s pregnant early in the round, this tends to be the trend with newly weds, with no children as in the early years most woohooo’s result in “try’s for a baby”. A baby girl is born just as winter hits and they call her Emeline.
As i hoped when i matched these proud parents the new baby has red hair. i find with sims sometimes you have to be aware of how genetics’ work otherwise you end up breeding out certain combinations / colors, so yay for a successful red head, red being the easiest colour to accidently breed out, followed closely by blond, and this couple had both blond and red genetic’s so they should hopefully provide me with a couple of children with both.
