Forrest and Taye live in a rather large converted farmhouse, They are lucky in that forrest being a solider reduces the Taxable value of the property from 25k to 20k so there tax’s are essentially what they would be if they lived in a smaller home.
However with the new tax system in place they find themselves in a position where there incomings v’s outgoings are cutting rather close.
Baring in mind that my open for business hack (no double dip ) prevents Taye earning money on her round, she only brings in family funds when i play lysanders house and he calls her into work on the stall which i don’t do everytime, meaning that it reality Taye brings in very little.
In addition to this Forrest has not yet reached the top of the military career which i suspect is due to my “harder career’s” hack which caps the number of sims that can progress into the higher ranks of each career, so i suspect the presence of Deonte, Orion, Thomas and of course Christopher in the higher ranks of the military career is hindering Forrest progress.
Thats ok though this is exactly why i use the hack not everyone should be able to reach the higher ranks and if Forrest has indeed been capped until one of the others move out of the military career then so be it, they will have to learn to survive on what they are earning now.
No suprise really but Taye and Forrest tried for a baby again this round, as they did the last round, however unlike last round Taye finally managed to get pregnant. This will be their second child together and im rather please, i think they are both to level headed to have millions and millions of kids however i see no harm in them wanting a moderately sized family they certainly have the space for it in their farmhouse.
The pregnancy ticks along nicely and eventually Taye is rewarded with a second daugher Amaria, then to add to the familys good luck Forrest won a chance card for $50,000 which should solve the family’s financial worries for a while at least.
