Ok i retired off Vince this round and i do plan to make that a reality in the story asap, money wise they are ok they have $59,000 cash on hand atm, however there income has taken abit of a knock this round.
Vince retired, as did 2 of their dogs however their outgoings are still quite high as they keep their 4 children in a decent education. All in all this means their family funds are going to take a slow decline but it is however manageable and i don’t anticipate it becoming a major problem, it is however time to start thinking about getting a new dog to bump up the income and of course replace the two dogs which are likely to die soon.
The first dog i bought was from the pet shop the same type as the 3 dogs they already have, the two elder dog’s are the mother and father of the younger one who is a female, i bought a second female and had a litter of puppies with the male elder dog before he died.
Basically although my breeding pool of sims is doing well my dogs / cats need work, the “mixed breeds” are fine but if i actually want to keep familys with pure breeds i need to work on expanding the genetic base of each breed of animals so eventually I’ll be able to stop relying on the “pet shop”.
With this in mind i think it might actually be time to start thinking about setting up “dog breeders” its getting silly trying to breed these dogs in functioning familys.
