Trying to get back into the swing of things having not played my kingdom in a while. I couldn’t remember where i was up to in the round so I’ve just started again from the beginning it means that last round was cut short and there wasn’t as many births as we would normally expect but it’s not a huge issue.
Im still not sure about this tax system i changed to, my first impressions after a long break is that the talons really aren’t paying that much in comparison to their earnings, now granted this is caused by the fact that i only bought their home business at the end of last round so this round i had a $2000, 0 rank market stall and a few hundred $ in cash to use for their calculations. By the end of the round they have $20,000 cash on hand and their market stall has shot up to rank 2 and a value of $12.985 , meaning that for next round their tax’s would be ($32,985 * 10% = Tax’s of $3,298 … hmmm still not that much really.
Still things are in the works and im willing to give it a few rounds to see how it pan’s out, im considering forcing all my farm owners (ie the main lot on an apartment block and household with the business) buying their way into merchant class as originally i wouldn’t allow peasants to own a business and i feel this would work better, merchant class owning the farm, peasants mearly working on it.
The couple really haven’t shown any interest in having another baby after the triplets (and having lost a child) they are so disinterested they don’t even have a % chance of “trying for a baby” with ACR skipping that check entirely moving right on to risky whoohoo, still this doesn’t stop it, their very last whoohoo of the round results in Aurora falling pregnant.
