this is a bit of a bad round for this family, in that Valdemar has raised the tax’s along with the estate move and Gideon aged to teen meaning he now has to pay as an adult.
Finnegan only moved in last round coming from the townie gene pool unemployed so his career/skill level’s are all really low. I’d take a lodger but Valdemar hasn’t exactly been generous with the accommodation and there simply isn’t room for another sim.
Luckily Finnegan did come into the relationship with cash so they have enough money to tide them over till Finnegan and Gideon get jobs and a few pay rises.
im quite happy with the new apartments, I’d sort of gotten away from making simple peasant hut’s. Sure they aren’t fancy but they do the job they where designed for. I don’t really expect Vui and Finnegan to stay here long Story line wise I’ve decided Finnegan is the Constable of Brightden so i think it’s safe to assume as soon as they can afford it they will move into more suitable accommodation. Perhaps leaving Gideon in this apartment at 15.
