Northbarrow Hollow (pop : 462)

Northbarrow Hallow is Tarik’s Old Estate, like Griffenmead it has no-one currently in charge so for the time being the nobles have been replaced with extra military personel.

I’ve also started to replace some of the proffesions for other “like” proffessions as i felt the origional list was alittle too restrictive.

Ok Moving along to the main village this is the one controlled by the royal family personally. Im not going it split this up by “age group” just yet as im still making some tweek’s to the way the generator i downloaded works to make it more suitable for my needs but for now this is what i have.

Brightden Crossing (pop: 303)

Ok so it’s time to start breaking down these villages and im going to start with Brightden Crossing which is the Village, Thomas has just liberated and moved Valdermar too.

Valdermar’s estate is now composed of this village and 10 isolated members of the population.

These Isolated Member’s are most likely to be 2 small farms or perhaps 1 large one with workers, i’ve decided in this case it’s going to be 2 small farms. Randomizing i decide on 4 people in one farm, 5 people in the other and then one last single man who is going to be a woodcutter.

Grimstead Demographics Continued

Grimstead Re-Vamp

Ok Eeek…

I’ve decided to do a massive overhaul of my RKC blog which has now be running for 3 years ACK!! my GOD that sounds like a long time when i say it out loud. Now i do actually play my sims game i have this immense set of custom rules and regulations and it’s all just a major headache. but i love it.

Basically my main problems fall into several main category’s

1) To many of the early posts are DIRE!!
2) I have waaaay to many storylines i started with good intention that seemed to got lost somewhere along the way and some storylines blatantly make no sence anymore. 
3) Now-where near enough pictures, honestly less than 50% of my posts actually have matching pictures which is quite sad and some of the early pictures are BAD!!!! 

Now my thought’s are that re-starting after such a HUGE length of time is simply NOT an option.. i have to many man hours invested in the darn thing besides there are over 748 posts!!! i don’t want to turn my back on it all.

So im thinking about re-vamping it and moving the entire thing.

I’m thinking perhaps if i move post by post each one to the new site re-vamping it along the way ie adding photo’s where needed, (which may involve needed to do some serious sim resurrections and de-evolutions) perhaps re-writing certain posts and deleting posts which don’t involve the main storylines and family’s so that the posts that exist on the new site are better quality and actually move the central plot along rather than frittering around and mostly making me confused?

Ok so i think it’s enough to say that this is a huge and fairly overwhelming task, the thought of it makes me want to cry really it does… but ignoring it and hoping it go’s away won’t work either.

Ugh!! ok so any hints and tips?
