Apartment Life – Shaw

The Shaw Estate only has the following family’s.

• Goldman – (Lucy’s live in Staff)
• Hayden Huntsman
• Orion / Narrisa Carpenter
• Aiden/Lucy Jones

the only family i see here suitable for apartment life is Hayden and his baby daughter, so the transition is pretty smooth moving them into a double unit I’d already built in the Shaw village.

I’ve set the rent on the Shaw village somewhere in the middle of the Vaux and Beaumont estate’s Lucy’s not exactly rolling in money and right now she needs all the help she can get, but at the same time she doesn’t want to be too harsh on the people living under her care.

I’ll admit i almost debated turning Lucy’s house it’s self into apartments, Heather and Phoenix are Lucy’s staff and they now have a young baby of their own, I’ve heard of other simmer’s turning their noble/royal houses into apartments to allow serving staff to live on the property but in a separate part of the house.

I have to admit i like this idea, but i have reservations, i like my servants being in the building to help with chores and im concerned that they would feel less part of the house, however the idea of being able to allow them to marry and have familys of their own without stepping on their masters/mistress’s household ie having lots with Waaay to many sims to be playable is also appealing, especially in heather and phoenix’s case
